Women on Mission
Central Baptist Women on Mission is a group of missions-minded ladies who meet regularly to pray for missionaries and the cause of missions in the world. They meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00-11:30 a.m., at which time they study together the Missions Mosaic Bible study and pray. They are involved in numerous missions projects including:
- financially supporting Pure Water, Pure Love, a ministry of the Women’s Missionary Union that seeks “to provide missionaries with water filters and the people they serve with wells that offer clean water, free from disease-causing microorganisms,”
- supporting the Central Baptist Church annual Christmas Closet,
- supporting Desired Haven Family Care Center assisting at risk families gain the skills, services and support they need to be successful,
- supporting the Central Baptist Church food pantry,
- supporting Central Baptist Church foster parents,
- supporting the ministry efforts of Paul Holderfield, Jr., and Friendly Chapel.
