Trunk or Treat
Join us for our Trunk or Treat on October 31. We will have FREE Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Games, Prizes and LOTS of Candy!!! For families with Babies-6th Grade children. This is a “Family Friendly” Event–no scary costumes, please!

For children age 4 by (8/1/22) through entering 6th Grade
Our fun-filled week is dependent on our over 100 volunteers who invest in the lives of our kids!
Our VBS Family Night will be a “Back To School” Night
August 7th, 2022 5:00pm - 7:00 pm
Hot Dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be provided by our Grill Team. Sno-cones and inflatables will guarantee a fun night for all!
Our families from our Lakewood Elementary partnership will be here to pick up backpacks and school clothes that have been donated.
Activities will take place outside, but the fellowship hall will be open for senior adults who would like to attend and fellowship. Invite your friends and bring your lawnchairs!

Awana is a Christian Club that teaches Biblical truths with an emphasis on Scripture memorization. The goal of Awana is “to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.” This is done through a structured, creative and fun program.
Awana Leader training is August 24 at 6:00. Contact Laurie Milholland to find out how you can join our Awana team!

While in our care children enjoy learning Bible truths through play time, structured age-appropriate activities and music. We strive to have the safest, cleanest and most loving care available.
Nursery/Preschool classes are offered:
Sunday-9:00 am Sunday School
Sunday 10:30 am-Extended Session/Worship (Children remain in the same room if dropped off at 9:00)

While older children and adults are participating in family worship in the sanctuary or attending Sunday School classes, our Children’s Church leaders are engaging children in their own time of worship!
Sound Bible teaching is offered in a variety of themes ranging from “Spy Chase,” “Upside Down Town,” to “Undersea Adventure.” “Elevate Jr.” curriculum themes change every 8 weeks and are sure to take your children on a fun journey of Biblical learning. Through a multi-media presentation, children participate in age-appropriate activities, games and music that teach and reinforce the weekly lesson. Snacks are offered, so please advise if your child has any allergies or special dietary needs.

Baby Dedication
Every Mother’s Day we recognize families with babies born since the previous Mother’s Day, as well as families with young children who have not previously participated, but would like to. CBC is blessed with an abundance of young families, it is not unusual to have 15 babies (or more) at this service!

Mother’s Day Out
Our Mother’s Day Out program serves children from the age of six weeks through pre-kindergarten. We realize that our MDO families have entrusted us with the care of these children, who have been created in the very image of God. Each child is uniquely different in stature, yet all have the same needs in the areas of social, physical, emotional and spiritual growth. We strive to meet all of these needs by creating an atmosphere that reflects security, love and acceptance expressed in a Christian manner.
ENROLLMENT FOR FALL 2022 has begun
We offer MDO on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-2:00.
MDO operates on a school calendar cycle; there is no summer program.
Curriculum (age permitting) includes finger plays, songs, nursery rhymes, prayer at mealtime, arts/crafts, thematic units, letters and sounds, shapes, counting, numbers, daily Bible lessons, and social skills.
